The new generation of self-awareness literature emerges in acclaimed author, James Tarantin's groundbreaking novel, "The Equation."

Based on Tarantin's real life events, "The Equation" takes readers through a harrowing adventure that streamlines across four continents and pushes to brink of self-discovery and human frailty.

From searching for the real meaning of accomplishment through the margins of marred time to battling with a crushing hierarchical structure and family ties, the book reveals the ugly truths that lie within and the necessary costs of forging a new path in life, creating a new outlook on what it means to succeed.

"All living things are interconnected," said Tarantin. "But as connected as the world has become, it has been stretched apart. Contracts have replaced a trustworthy word. Contacts have replaced friends. The home's shutters are shut so that no stranger will ask for favors. The plane travels to many cultures, yet one does not merge with these cultures. And sometimes the shine of the shoe is more importnatn than the shoemaker."

As one of the youngest philosophical thinkers of today, Tarantin immigrated to the US after enduring a horrific tragedy at the turn of the millennium to begin again and reveal to others the profound truth that often follows a harsh reality.

He has since naturalized to the US, building a multi-faceted empire that converges his popular YouTube channel and TarantinDream, a company that he founded with the help of television and radio legend, Larry King. The company has further propelled Tarantin's tour-de-force style and reach through the combination of storytelling and technology.
